924B Magnetostrictive Probe
All stainless-steel construction, highly accurate, easy installation and trouble-free performance for inventory management and in-tank leak detection.
The Model 924B Magnetostrictive Probe features standard stainless-steel construction, making it ideally suited for use with gasoline, diesel, ethanol and biodiesel. The 924B probe is certified to meet or exceed the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s performance standards for 0.1 gph (0.38 L/hr) volumetric tank tightness testing and 0.2 gph (0.76 L/hr) monthly product-level monitoring.
924B Probe System Features
- Accurate – Five-point temperature sensing element provides exact temperature compensation for product volume contraction and expansion, allowing for accurate inventory management and in-tank leak detection
- Installation – Adjustable probe head centering disks provide a tight fit inside risers with diameters ranging from 2″ (5.1 cm) to 4″ (10.2 cm)
- Welded construction – eliminates potential leak points
- Level 1 probe – one probe for all applications
- Can be multi-dropped – up to four (4) probes connected on a single I.S. channel (SiteSentinel® iSite™/Integra 100™ only)
- Optional Density Float – provides a measure of all changes in product density within the specified API density range
Magnetostrictive Probe Data
- Measures product level changes to a resolution of 0.0005″ (0.0127 mm)
- Measures product temperature changes to a resolution of 0.2º F (0.1º C)
- Measures water level changes to a resolution of 0.012″ (0.254 mm)
- Linearity over the entire probe length is ± 0.04″ (1 mm)
